Risks of the NFT market

Despite all the optimistic forecasts for the growth of the NFT market, all the risks inherent in the new asset class also remain. 

Let's consider the main ones:


Legal uncertainty - the NFT sector is not yet regulated in any way, and financial regulators may well consider non-fungible tokens as an analogue of securities. The lack of legal status may alienate many large investors from the sector.


Risks of loss of ownership - NFT ownership is not enshrined in any legislation. So far, with the purchase of NFT, no rights are legally transferred to the user.


Investment risks - it is almost impossible to predict in advance which NFT collection will succeed. 

Despite this, all these problems are solvable. The NFT raises many legal and legal disputes, but as the market matures, these will be resolved.
